By train: shuttle, station, changes
From the pier a port shuttle takes you to the Largo della Pace exit; from there Civitavecchia station is about a 10-minute walk. Regional trains to Rome run several times an hour, from about €5 per person, reaching San Pietro, Trastevere, Ostiense or Termini in 45-80 minutes.
